i used to wait and wait as a meditator for the ULTIMATE TRUTH OF EXISTENCE to come and plop in my lap
-I was prepared to wait forever.
Well, it never happened,
because I was living in fantasy land.
I wasn't willing to hunker down and do the work.
The truth was always there; it is always there. It's everywhere, all at once, you can't miss it.
But I did!
I was always looking for something better.
I couldn't face up to my own life,
and take in the simple beauty of it.
I couldn't take in all the pain, and sorrow....
